Our expenditure for losses totalled HRK 302,868,075 in 2009, which is a 5.5% increase, exceeding all our incurred losses recorded in the previous years. The majority of losses hit our portofolio which has been entirely or largely retained, resulting in an increase in retained losses of 43%. In contrast to this, losses paid by retrocessionaires, totalling HRK 140,558,479, decreased by almost 20% relative to 2008.

Losses in our incoming business from abroad amounted to HRK 31,879,287, which accounts for 10.52% of total losses.
